1891: Potsdamer Yacht Club. 1897: GAASTRA. Two stories rooted in sailing – shaped by experience, community and a shared fascination with life on the water. These values have been passed down through generations. And to this day, they define what we stand for: maritime heritage with a forward-looking spirit.

Reading the wind. Making decisions. Performing as a team. Sailing demands skill, trust and passion – values that unite PYC and GAASTRA. From young sailors to the German Sailing Bundesliga, this spirit is lived every day. On Lake Wannsee and far beyond.

GAASTRA x PYC is a partnership built on shared values. We share a passion for sailing, a commitment to quality and a belief in true team spirit. As a partner, GAASTRA outfits the Potsdamer Yacht Club’s Bundesliga team and supports its sailors throughout the season.

For generations, Lake Wannsee has been at the heart of Berlin’s sailing culture – and it is home to the Potsdamer Yacht Club. Just a few kilometres away is GAASTRA’s headquarters in Berlin-Hoppegarten. This partnership is therefore defined not only by a shared passion for sailing, but also by strong regional ties. Two partners, one shared maritime DNA.
